I'm gettin' there

So I'm still getting used to this whole blog thing (and/or living in today's technology...which as most of you know, is not really my thing!). But this is also a great way to keep you posted on life in the ministry.

So far, I'm loving it! This opportunity has been more than just a blessing. First, for those of you who are not aware of what I'm doing, I'll give you the short version. I am working with Chi Alpha, a missions organization, working specifically on secular college campuses. My specific job is as a Missionary Aid. This involves leadership/missions training, leading some trips myself, connecting college campuses with resources for missions, and heading out to wherever God would lead! I am also watching my nephew Vincent 3-4 days a week, and I am also REALLY loving that!

Okay, so back to life...this has been a great transition for us. My health is much better, I am learning more about missions, spending more time with family, and enjoying life as God has it for me. And I even get to work side-by-side with Matt (which means we get to see each other a LOT more throughout the week!).

So that's all for now...stay tuned for the adventures that lie ahead. And be sure to check out the Chi Alpha website!
